How to be saved.
Salvation comes through one man named Jesus Christ. He left Heaven to come to earth to teach and establish his church. He lived the perfect sinless life. He was born to die, to die for you and me, to pay for our sins to satisfy the judgment of God. We became sinners when Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Their disobedience passed sin on to the whole human race and that caused death, both spiritual and physical to all mankind.
The Bible says:
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by
sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 10:9-13
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same
Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
To be saved you must:
1. Confess your a sinner.
2. Repent of your sin.
3. Believe with all your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died for your sin.
4. Pray to God and ask him to forgive you of your sin and save your soul.
